Clearances & Recycling

Clearing a space is not synonymous with emptying a space. Emptying a space can often come with a cost. Space clearing can create an added burden on the environment, with the costs associated with emptying space exceeding the cost of renting a skip.

We clear spaces and carefully sort the contents removed to create the space. We pride ourselves on our ability to sell or donate reusable furniture and equipment instead of sending these items to landfill. Recycling is a part of our process, and we ensure compliance with WEEE for our electrical recycling, and everything we remove from a space is cleared with the best of our ability to recycle.

This process has become more and more important and has more and more impact, especially if the space is a part of a managed building, or you are clearing the space as a part of an end of lease obligation. Value is lost when clearances are done poorly during the dilapidation process.

What’s included:

  • Clearance of an office, retail, or warehouse space in full or in part
  • Resale or reuse of furniture and equipment
  • Electrical recycling compliance with WEEE
  • Disposal of beyond saving items
  • Clearance done by a certain date with less than the usual notice

In most cases we find that clearances take less time than people expect, especially when we have a clear plan, beyond the simple act of clearing, and have instructions to clear the space and nothing else.

Let us know which space you are clearing, and we will give a realistic estimate of how long the clearance will take.
